Liver Health Awareness Campaign
Liver Health Awareness Campaign
CHAC’s work in liver health began in 2013 with viral hepatitis awareness and liver cancer screening campaigns among African communities in Minnesota. Today, we continue this commitment through community engagement, education, and partnerships with institutions like Mayo Clinic to reduce disparities and improve access to care. Our initiatives focus on:
- Increasing awareness of liver health, viral hepatitis, and liver cancer
- Improving linkage to care and supporting individuals at higher risk
- Reducing disparities by expanding access to culturally and linguistically appropriate services
By addressing barriers such as healthcare access, literacy, and provider awareness, CHAC works to make liver health equity a reality for all communities we serve.
