Breast Cancer Awareness

Our newest initiative focuses on empowering women and their families with knowledge and resources to improve breast health outcomes. Building on trusted community partnerships, CHAC provides culturally and linguistically appropriate education, promotes early detection, and connects women to lifesaving screening and care. Our initiatives focus on:

• Raising awareness about breast cancer prevention and early detection
• Encouraging screening and improving access to mammography services
• Reducing disparities by addressing barriers such as language, stigma, and healthcare access

Through this work, CHAC continues to foster trust, increase awareness, and ensure that women in African and immigrant communities have the tools they need to protect their health.
